Estimates above do not factor in a) individual tax incentives available to vanpoolers,
and b) vanpool subsidies that are available in many markets (including most areas
of Southern California).
Costs vary depending on daily round-trip miles, passenger occupancy, and the year-model
of the van. Samples above are estimated based on a 2008 year-model van traveling
55 round-trip miles per day. Not included in these rates are fuel and parking costs.
Each Enterprise van comes equipped with luxury cloth upholstery, AM/FM stereo and
CD player, power locks/windows, cruise control, and front and rear air-conditioning.
Luxury vans include the following additional features: high-backed reclining “captain’s
chairs” with individual armrests, and interior overhead lights.
